Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka, who also serves as the Western Region Presidential Re-Election Coordinator, has declared that the two term Brigade will comb every village across the region to secure President William Ruto’s re-election in 2027.
Speaking on January 11, 2026 at Posta Grounds in Bungoma during the issuance of President Ruto’s Sh5 million pledge to the clergy, Lusaka said his team would intensify grassroots mobilisation, citing the President’s development record as justification for a second term.
He noted that the Kenya Kwanza administration had delivered tangible gains in infrastructure, housing, agriculture and modern markets among others.
“President William Ruto has achieved a lot in his first term. We will walk in every village to ensure he earns a second term to continue transforming the country,” Lusaka said, adding that no former president had served a single term.

Kakamega Deputy Governor Ayub Savula, who deputises Lusaka in the regional coordination team, lauded the President’s decision to appoint Lusaka, saying he was equal to the task and would deliver victory for President Ruto in Western Kenya.
Sirisia MP John Waluke, the chairperson of the Western Parliamentary Caucus, pledged to unite legislators behind President Ruto’s re-election bid.
Vihiga Woman Representative Dr Beatrice Adagala and Kiminini MP Kakai Bisau echoed calls for unity, urging leaders in the Mulembe Nation to end infighting and rally behind President Ruto to strengthen the region’s bargaining power and secure more development.
