Police have launched investigations after a man collapsed and died while at a toilet, in Limuru, Kiambu County.
The victim, identified as Paul Kimani Karanja, 50, had arrived home in Limuru on Friday August 15, 2025 at night and informed his wife he was from Kitui.
Reports indicate that he had gone to seek spiritual interventions since his butchery business was doing badly.
According to witnesses, the man excused himself to go to the toilet, where he collapsed and died.
His body was found in the toilet hours after his death.
Police went to the scene and moved the body to the mortuary pending autopsy as investigations continue.
Meanwhile, the cause of his death remains unknown.
However, police said they will visit the church in Kitui where the man had gone for the said prayers as part of the investigations.
