Man Kush: Pastor Ng’ang’a and Kanyari can’t beat me in a boxing match

Controversial preacher and comedian Paul Kuria, popularly known as Man Kush, has revealed details of his impressive boxing background during a candid chat on a podcast hosted by Chaxy, one-third of the MIC CHEQUE Podcast.

In the interview, Man Kush disclosed that he boxed professionally for 16 years, competing in 52 bouts with an outstanding record of 50 wins and just 2 losses, earning him the self-proclaimed title of a knockout specialist.

He explained that he retired from the sport following the tragic death of fellow boxer Robert Wangila, reflecting on the mental toll boxing had taken on him.

“Sometimes I feel like my brain is not working normally. You win the battle with your brain,” he emphasized.

Despite his formidable skills, Man Kush said he avoids confrontation outside the ring.

“If anyone confronts me, I’ll run away because I know what I can do. Fighting is very expensive,” he stated.

When asked about a potential boxing match with fellow controversial pastor James Ng’ang’a, Man Kush was unreserved.

“I think Ng’ang’a is a bit lower than me. He can be my student,” he declared.

However, his tone changed when the topic turned to pastor Kanyari.

“Kanyari is my son, as far as age is concerned. Number one, I’ll not do it with him. If it’s for entertainment, then I have to coach him behind the tent,” he explained.

Beyond the ring, Man Kush revealed that he works only three hours a day yet still earns an income, though he remained discreet about the specifics.

He also shared his thoughts on spiritual warfare and personal accountability, emphasizing that true deliverance comes from within.

“Nobody is created to deliver another person. You are the one who is supposed to deliver yourself because you know what you did,” he stated.

On handling criticism, especially on social media, the pastor said he chooses to stay above the fray.

“Call me anything on social media. I’ll never answer,” he said, explaining that he leaves judgment to God rather than engaging in online disputes.
