Notably, Kenyans in the diaspora have contributed the largest share, totaling KSh6 million. The funds are being utilized for the #UkatibaCaravan, a nationwide civic education initiative aimed at increasing voter registration among young people, with a target of 15 million new young voters .
Maraga’s campaign emphasizes transparency and accountability, with contributions as low as KSh50 accepted through various channels, including M-Pesa, credit cards, PayPal, and Stripe.

The #UkatibaCaravan will involve workshops, town hall meetings, and outreach programs to educate citizens on constitutional rights and responsibilities, as well as the importance of participating in elections.
