Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi has defended the Kenya Kwanza Administration against critics, saying the country’s economy is on an upward trajectory.
Speaking during a funds drive at Mikuyu Primary School in Gwasi, Mbadi called on the government critics to “wake up to reality” and stop misleading Kenyans about the state of the economy.
He also addressed concerns over delayed school capitation, saying the issue had been resolved since he assumed office at the National Treasury.
He urged Kenyans to give President William Ruto time to fulfill his promises and cautioned against plunging the country back into premature political campaigns.
