John Maina, commonly known as MC Fullstop was a man whose voice could lift you higher than a Lion in Zion. Not just a hypeman. The fire in the crowd. The real definition of ‘life of the party’. From dusty club stages to national TV studios, MC Fullstop carried reggae in his blood.
On Riddim Vybz at K24… on Reggae Boyz at NRG… he didn’t just host shows—he made every listener feel like family.
But behind the cheers… there was a battle.
In a candid TV interview, MC Fullstop admitted what many would hide—alcohol had damaged his liver.
The party life had taken its toll. And as if that wasn’t enough… diabetes joined the fight.
Then came the most cruel low blow—Tuberculosis.
First, his left lung collapsed… leaving him gasping for air. Then TB crept to his throat… stealing the voice that had moved thousands.
But MC Fullstop was no quitter. Even in the hospital, he urged his fans to take care, to test, to live.
For a time, he seemed to be winning. He adapted, stayed close to the music, and kept the riddim alive in his heart.
But on August 1, 2025… the riddim stopped. The reggae community lost a lion.
Social media lit up with memories, videos, and tributes. His voice may be gone… but the vibrations he left behind… will echo forever.
MC Fullstop—rest in power, king.
