Kenyan gospel musician Moji Shortbaba and his wife, content creator and media personality Nyawira Gachugi, have announced that they are expecting their first child together.

The couple made the announcement on an instagram post and shared the exciting news with their fans and followers with a caption that read, ” the blessings of God are amazing. They serve as a reminder that He is concerned about what we pray for even the prayers made in silence. We’re so honored to be trusted by God to carry this blessing. Tumekubali Yesu unatujali.”

Moji, is known for his presence in Kenya’s gospel music scene and as a former member of the popular gospel group Kelele Takatifu. He tied the knot with Nyawira in a private ceremony in 2021.

The couple’s announcement had sparked reactions online, with thousands of congratulatory messages pouring in from fans, fellow gospel musicians, influencers, and celebrities.
