Inject Party leader Morara Kebaso has officially bowed out of active politics, announcing his exit in a lengthy and emotional post on his X account.
Known for his bold stance against corruption, especially through his viral exposé series Vampire Diaries, Kebaso shocked his supporters by declaring that he is finally “free.”
“Guys, I finally escaped politics. I can now live my life,” he began, expressing deep relief.
Kebaso shared how politics had robbed him of normalcy, privacy, and peace.
From being constantly judged for how he danced or smiled to requiring security and being misquoted on TV interviews, he painted a picture of a young leader overwhelmed by the pressure and scrutiny that came with the spotlight.
“I can drive myself and race like hell,” he wrote, emphasizing how the simple things many take for granted had become luxuries for him.

Kebaso, who rose to fame as a fearless critic of the current regime, disclosed that he had carried immense anger and pain throughout his political journey.
“So much that if I do not destroy something, it will definitely destroy me,” he confessed, indicating the emotional toll of leadership and public expectations.
He assured his followers that although he is stepping away, his commitment to the youth and national development remains strong.
He pledged to support, advise, and contribute financially to emerging leaders.
Kebaso also revealed that assets contributed to him by Kenyans of goodwill would be handed over to the current leadership of the Inject Party to continue the dream of empowering the youth.
“As for me, I want to live, worship freely, and preach without people thinking I’m pretending or chasing clout,” he said.
His post ended with a heartfelt appeal: “I was almost going mad… I can live my life, finally. Can I hear an amen back there?”
