Engines roared, mud flew, and adrenaline levels peaked this past weekend as Mud 4 Fun took over Thika Grove Chania from April 18 to 20, 2025. The 3 day event drew in off-road enthusiasts from across the country, all eager to experience the thrill of Kenya’s premier 4×4 challenge.
Off-Road madness meets community vibes
Drivers of all levels from curious beginners to experts, battled through custom-built muddy tracks, steep climbs, and tight turns. Spectators lined up along the trails, cheering on their favorites, as vehicles splashed and skidded through the dirt.
Beyond the track, the energy was electric. From food stalls and live music to camping zones and kids’ play areas, Mud 4 Fun created the perfect weekend escape for all ages.
Fun with a purpose
While the mud and motors stole the spotlight, the heart of the event lay in its mission: sustainability. Mud 4 Fun proudly pushed forward its commitment to planting 15 billion trees. Guests took part in tree planting activities across the weekend, proving that fun and purpose can go hand in hand.
Many left with not just great memories, but a sense of contributing to a greener Kenya.
Families, friends & fun
From sunrise to sunset, Thika Grove transformed into a playground for thrill and connection. Families picnicked under the trees, kids raced through play areas, and 4×4 lovers bonded over shared stories and the occasional stuck-in-the-mud moment.
The event also provided a platform for local vendors, food trucks, and creatives adding to the rich, communal feel of the weekend.
What’s next?
As the dust settles and engines cool, many are already counting down to the next edition. If this past weekend was anything to go by, Mud 4 Fun is fast becoming one of Kenya’s most anticipated outdoor events.
