Mzungu Fresh opens up on being dumped by a girl from Mombasa after going broke

Digital creator Matheus, popularly known online as Kenyan Mzungu Fresh, has shared a painful personal story about a relationship he says drained his finances and left him unable to return to his home country.

Speaking in a recent interview, Mzungu Fresh revealed that he met a woman in Mombasa, fell in love, and took on most of her financial responsibilities during their brief relationship.

He said the dynamic changed abruptly when his money ran out.

“I met a girl in Mombasa, fell in love, paid all her bills and now I don’t have enough money to go back to my country,” he said. “When I told her about it, she told me she doesn’t want to be with me anymore.”

The content creator explained that the two were together for about two months, during which he says he went out of his way to support not only his partner, but also her family.

According to him, she was originally from Mombasa but living in Nairobi at the time they met.

“We were together for two months. I started paying for her rent, buying furniture for her, paying rent for her mother,” he recounted.

“She took me to the village, she introduced me to her grandmother. I bought a washing machine for them. I even bought goats for her.”

Mzungu Fresh said the turning point came when he checked his bank account and realized he no longer had enough funds to travel back to his home country.

After sharing his financial situation with his partner, he claims the relationship ended immediately.

“She blocked me everywhere; WhatsApp, Instagram, my phone number, and now I can’t talk with her,” he said.

While acknowledging that some may find his experience amusing, the 28-year-old maintained that the situation has left him in a difficult position.

“It might be funny to you guys, but now I am in a situation where I don’t have enough money to go back to my country,” he said. “I was falling in love and I didn’t think properly.”

His candid account has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some users expressing sympathy and others urging caution when it comes to mixing finances and romance.
