Nairobi Restaurant Week 2026 comes to a close

1 February 2026, Nairobi, Kenya: Eat Out Kenya has officially concluded the 2026 edition of Nairobi Restaurant Week (NRW 2026), marking the end of a successful 10-day culinary celebration that brought together over 80 restaurants across Nairobi.

Running from 22 January to 1 February 2026, the event showcased Nairobi’s vibrant dining scene through curated menus and accessible dining experiences, attracting strong participation from diners and driving increased foot traffic to restaurants across the city.

Organised by Eat Out Kenya and endorsed by Magical Kenya (Kenya Tourism Board) and the Ministry of Tourism & Wildlife, NRW 2026 reinforced Nairobi’s growing reputation as a leading culinary tourism destination in Africa.

The festival also highlighted the strength of collaboration within the hospitality sector, bringing together restaurants, partners, institutions, and diners with a shared goal of growing the industry.

“Nairobi Restaurant Week continues to show the strength and potential of our hospitality industry,” said Wendy Lorenze, General Manager at Eat Out Kenya. “Over the past year, Eat Out has worked closely with restaurant partners to improve systems and adopt world-class technology. In 2025 alone, we recorded over 1.5 million seat reservations on the platform.”

NRW 2026 was made possible with the support of key partners including Aquamist, Clique, EPC Champagne, Farm to Feed, Fresh, Magical Kenya, Nairobi City County Government, Paystack, Safaricom, Uber, and Velvex.

Building on the success of Nairobi Restaurant Week, EatOut Kenya and Magical Kenya will continue working together to promote Nairobi as a top food destination while spotlighting Kenya’s rich agricultural produce through curated dining experiences and culinary tourism initiatives.
