Burglars target Gov. Ny'ong'o's home, steal food and clothes

Kisumu police are investigating an incident in which suspected burglars broke into the home of Governor Anyang' Ny'ong'o and stole an assortment of clothes and foodstuffs.
The incident happened in Ratta village, Seme sub-County, on Tuesday night.
Nyanza regional police boss Karanja Muiruri says preliminary investigations suggest the theft was orchestrated by someone well known to the family.
He said the theft was reported by the farm manager and police are looking forward to interviewing all the workers. The farm is usually under guard by two police officers.
"We have taken statements from at least four people who are usually present at the Governor's rural residence," Kisumu County Police Commander separately told 'Nation.'
