Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha has revealed what he will be doing once he leaves office.
The no-nonsense CS who often shoots from the hip -and takes no prisoners- could be leaving office once a new government is sworn in. He has had his fair share of ups and downs during his tenure at the Education Ministry.
Speaking during the commissioning a CBC classroom at Muhuri Muchiri Secondary School in Njiru sub-County, Nairobi, on Wednesday August 24, Magoha said he will resume to his early practice of urology.
"If you have problems passing urine, don't be afraid. You can visit my hospital in Nairobi Hospital," Magoha told journalists in a rare, jocular moment. "In fact, just show your press card and you might get special treatment."
Magoha has, during his time at the Ministry (March 2019 to current), been at loggerheads with journalists over his pronouncement. The most recent controversy stemmed from the oft-changes to the school re-opening dates as learning was suspended to pave way for the August 9 general election.
"I will miss you (journalists) because you have played a very important role during my tenure," Magoha said.
