A one of a kind talent show in Kenya will premier on TV47 on Sunday January 8.
'Talanta 47' seeks to discover untapped talent in all fields of creative arts among the young and young-at-heart.
It is hosted by evergreen comedian Eric Omondi, 'President of Comedy in Africa.'
"We are looking for latent talent in music, dance, art, magic and all form of entertainment," says TV47 Programmes Director Diana Tarik. "For those who feel their potential has been stuck in a cocoon, this is you opportunity."
She says unlike other talent-search programmes, this one is unique in that the talent is carefully filtered and moulded with support from TV47 and Eric Omondi to (inter) national stardom.
"Every week, we will focus on one talent whereby we not only showcase it on TV but also spend a day with them, give them a makeover and pay for the professional production of their creations."
The premier edition of the show takes Eric Omondi and his crew to Machakos and Kiambu counties.
Tune in to 'TV47' on Sunday 8pm to learn more about 'Talanta 47'.
