Transport paralysed, businesses closed as Azimio supporters protest in Migori town

Business premises in Migori town remained closed on Monday, March 27 morning as Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition supporters took to the streets and barricaded the busy Migori-Kisii-Isebania Highway.
The residents used stones, wood and other crude materials to barricade the road forcing motorists and other road users to use alternatives routes to access Kisii and Isebania towns.
The residents said that the high cost of living, high fuel prices, electoral reforms and failure to open the IEBC servers as some of the concerns that the Kenya Kwanza Government should address to help unlock the impasse that is affecting the country.
