Raila-linked Spectre gas plant attacked by goons
Police in Nairobi are investigating an incident where unknown persons attacked East Africa Spectre Limited, a gas plant owned by Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga.
The goons attacked the plant on Monday, March 27 afternoon and started pelting stones indiscriminately.
Videos circulating on social media show shattered windows with stones all over the premises entrance.
The plant's security and safety manager Humphrey Waswa says that the goons arrived at the premises on motorcycles.
"They were being supported with four unmarked vehicles (land cruisers) and we suspect their target was our Managing Director because her office has been most damaged," he told journalists.
"Luckily we don't have any injuries or casualties but the buildings, the window panes have been damaged," he added.
