Digital content creator Eve Mungai has dismissed swirling online rumors suggesting she’s battling heartbreak and regret following her breakup with Director Trevor.
The digital content creator made it clear she hasn’t made any such emotional confessions and finds the claims both false and laughable.
Speculation had been mounting on social media, with some users insinuating that Eve regrets the split and is struggling emotionally, even suggesting she might be depressed.
But the popular YouTuber responded swiftly, calling out the fake news and making it known that none of those sentiments came from her.
“This is very fake news… I haven’t made such statements. I’m shocked,” Eve said in a direct response to the trending rumors.
She later took to Instagram to further mock the claims, asking sarcastically, “Hata nashangaa nikae chini niongee kitu kama hiyo?”, loosely translated as, “I’m even surprised, how would I sit down and say something like that?”
In response to the allegations that she might be battling depression post-breakup, Eve didn’t mince words, replying simply with “God forbid.”
Eve and Director Trevor, once considered a dynamic duo in Kenya’s digital media space, went their separate ways early last year.
While online chatter continues to speculate on the aftermath, Eve has shown no signs of regret, only confidence, clarity, and a bit of well-placed sarcasm.
