Two suspected gang members were arrested in Mombasa County following a swift police response to a tip-off from members of the public.
The incident occurred on Wednesday August 6, 2025 at around 11:45 pm at Kadongo Stage in Kisauni, where officers from Mjambere Police Station responded to reports of a group of armed young men posing threat to public safety.
Upon arrival, the officers managed to apprehend two individuals who were found in possession of pangas.
The suspects were taken into custody and are currently awaiting processing and arraignment.
At the same time, the National Police Service reaffirmed its dedication to maintaining public safety, thanking the community for its vigilance.
