Police detain individual and confiscate drug consignment in Homa Bay

Police officers from Kendu Bay Police Station executed an intelligence-driven operation aimed at combating illegal substances and contraband alcohol along the Kendu Bay-Homa Bay route in the Kanyadhiang locality of North Karachuonyo.

The officers stopped and searched a white Toyota Corolla bearing registration KAM 168U during the operation.

Upon inspection, authorities discovered the vehicle was carrying 1,825 rolls, 113 brooms, and roughly 4 kilograms of loose bhang, all hidden within four sacks.

The individual was arrested and taken to the police station for processing ahead of a court appearance.

Meanwhile, both the motor vehicle and confiscated items remain in police custody at the station.
