Police in Embu Town are looking for a former Member of County Assembly (MCA) who reportedly opened fire at a club.

Reports indicate that the former MCA, a licensed gun holder, got into an altercation with fellow revelers at the popular club.

This altercation culminated to the MCA brandishing his gun and shooting in the air, sending the revelers into a panic mode.

In the ensuing melee, several people were injured as they scampered for safety.

Police officers who arrived at the scene recovered a 9mm ammunition for evidence.

They are also urging the former MCA to surrender himself to authorities for questioning.
