Police officers in Kisumu recovered a variety of suspected stolen items on July 13, 2025 following a successful security operation.

The operation was launched after a report from members of the public regarding items believed to have been stolen from Kombe Kogulo Comprehensive School on May 25, 2025.

This was after police raided a residence in Barmathonye Village, Lower Kadongo Sub-location, Kisumu West Sub-County, where they recovered assorted items after receiving a report.

The recovered items included school utensils, laboratory apparatus, writing materials, five bicycles of various makes, two desktop computers, one television set, five iron sheets, fifteen boxes of floor tiles, one sewing machine, one water pump, and gas cylinders.

All recovered items have been secured at Holo Police Station as investigations continue. Members of the public who may have lost property are encouraged to visit the station for identification.

Meanwhile, police are actively tracking the suspect connected to the theft and have reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with the community to combat crime.
