Energy Principal Secretary Alex Wachira has stated that President William Ruto stands out as Kenya’s best president, citing the numerous ongoing development projects as evidence of his leadership.
“Most people will tell you former President Mwai Kibaki is the best Kenyan president Kenya ever had. How come his re-election in 2007 was through a narrow margin?” Posed Mr Wachira.
“It is because now you are looking back and appreciating the kind of work he did. I want to tell Kenyans, when President Ruto will be done in 2032, by 2034 you will be realizing he is the best president Kenya ever had because of the kind of transformations that he is doing.”
The PS highlighted how President Ruto’s projects such as ‘Affordable Housing’, contribute to the development of other sectors.
“If you go to Mukuru today, other than the affordable housing project, there is a school that is being built,” added Wachira.
The PS was tasked with officially launching the Mashujaa thematic week in Kitui ahead of Mashujaa Day celebration that will be held at Ithookwe Stadium in Kitui town.
Among those present were Agriculture PS Jonathan Mueke, Kitui Deputy Governor Augustine Wambua, Head of Presidential Special Projects and Creative Economy Dennis Itumbi among others.
This year’s Mashujaa theme is Transforming lives through sustainable energy solutions.
