Kenyan socialite and digital content creator Pritty Vishy has opened up about her weight loss journey after losing 40Kgs, saying she now weighs 73Kgs.
Vishy said she used Ozempic Semaglutide shots to help her loose weight.
This was after she was bullied online over her body in the recent past, leading her to the journey of focusing and bettering herself.
Pritty Vishy previously weighed 112 kg with her BMI (body mass index) being 50 yet (normal BMI ranges from 18-24), before she started her Ozempic journey. She now weighs 73kg but her target weight is the 60’s range.
Ozempic Semaglutide is an anti-diabetic medication used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and an anti-obesity medication used for long-term weight management.
“The injection reduces appetite but doesn’t reduce food noise,” Pritty Says.
She further says that her side effects were nausea, loss of appetite, dizziness, diarrhoea and vomiting but this effects vary for different people.
According to her, the reason why she stopped shooting content with her mother was because of body shaming.
“She stopped doing content since she faced criticism and shaming after she did an interview with Mungai Eve and from then she opted not to be on camera,” she explained.
Other celebrities such as Murugi Munyi, Kevin Kinuthia, and Kate Actress also admitted to using Ozempic Semaglutide in their weight loss journeys.
