Paris Saint-Germain have been handed a significant boost ahead of their UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg against Arsenal, with star winger Ousmane Dembele expected to return from injury.

Dembele missed PSG’s weekend Ligue 1 defeat to Strasbourg due to tightness in his right hamstring, raising concerns about his availability for Wednesday’s crucial clash at the Parc des Princes.

PSG manager Luis Enrique expressed his concerns after Dembele was forced off in the first leg at the Emirates, but remained optimistic about the player’s recovery. “We’re going to try to get Dembele back on the pitch.

If Ousmane can play, that’s better, but if he doesn’t, we’ll still be a real team,” Enrique said. Dembele has since participated in first-team training, successfully completing three of four scheduled exercises and reportedly “felt good” during the session, increasing hopes that he will feature in the decisive encounter.

Dembele’s return would be a major boost for PSG, as the French international has been a standout performer this season, scoring 33 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.

His pace, flair, and clinical finishing have made him a key figure in PSG’s attack, providing manager Enrique with greater tactical flexibility.
