Rapcha the Sayantist reveals why he left Iko Nini Podcast

Comedian and media personality, Francis Kibe, popularly known as Rapcha the Sayantist has broken his silence on what led to his public disagreement with Iko Nini Podcast host Mwafreeka and his subsequent departure from the show.

The entertainer opened up about the circumstances during an episode of his Chizi Podcast, revealing details that had previously remained unclear to fans and followers.

Rapcha explained that the conflict began when he publicly criticized rapper Khaligraph Jones. The situation escalated when Mwafreeka addressed the matter during a live episode of Iko Nini, discussing on camera why Rapcha should not have targeted Khaligraph in his comments.

Rapcha described Mwafreeka’s approach as feeling more like a public lecture than a private conversation between colleagues.

Rapcha expressed that he felt profoundly disrespected during that particular episode.

He recounted how Mwafreeka confronted him on camera in front of the audience, a moment that left such an impression that even his own sons, who were watching the show, were taken aback by how events unfolded.

“Alikuwa ananisomea mbele ya camera,” Rapcha revealed.

The public nature of the reprimand seemed to be a significant factor in Rapcha’s decision to distance himself from the podcast.

According to Rapcha, the tensions between himself and Mwafreeka were not isolated to this single incident.

He revealed that there had been previous friction during the production of his Raw and Uncut comedy special, where he once again felt disrespected by Mwafreeka’s conduct.

This pattern of interactions contributed to the growing rift between the two media personalities.

Rapcha also touched on what he perceives as Mwafreeka’s loyalty shifting toward Khaligraph Jones despite their long-standing friendship.

He suggested that Mwafreeka’s decision to side with Khaligraph over him felt particularly hurtful given their history together.

Rapcha believes that Mwafreeka’s actions during the podcast confrontation were designed to gain favour with Khaligraph, especially since the entire exchange played out publicly on the show for viewers to witness.
