Kenya Kwanza leaders have called out former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua over his recent remarks on ODM Leader Raila Odinga, urging him to accord him the respect he deserves.
Speaking at Kandiege Stadium during a women economic empowerment forum hosted by Homa Bay Woman Representative Joyce Bensuda, the leaders stressed that divisive politics had no place in the country.
National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula and President William Ruto’s aide Farouk Kibet led the call, emphasizing that Odinga’s role in shaping Kenya’s democracy was too significant to be dismissed.
Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot echoed the sentiments, saying Odinga’s contribution to the nation elevates him to the stature of a statesman, even when political opinions differ.
