Ruben Amorim: The storm is over ,good days are coming

Manchester United’s Manager Ruben Amorim, reflecting on a challenging first season at Old trafford issued a heartfelt apology to both fans and players while promising a brighter future.

Speaking after the final whistle of a last-day victory over Aston Villa—which followed the disappointment of a Europa League final loss to Tottenham Hotspur—Amorim acknowledged the season as “disastrous” but urged unity moving forward.

“First of all, I want to apologise for this season. I know you are really disappointed with me and with the team,” Amorim said during his on-pitch address.

He emphasized that the club now faces a choice: “We fight each other or we stick together and move forward.”

Recalling his early days in charge, Amorim reminded supporters of his earlier warning that “a storm was coming,” but reassured them that “the good days are coming.” He invoked Manchester United’s storied history of overcoming adversity, reinforcing belief in the club’s resilience.

Amorim also apologized to his players for moments when he felt he was not fair but stressed his commitment to honesty.

Ending on a hopeful note, he thanked the fans for their support despite the hardships and promised to return stronger next season.
