Kenya Police FC have confirmed the appointment of Serbian tactician Dusan Stojanović as their new head coach, following the recent departure of Burundian coach Etienne Ndayiragije.
Stojanović officially signed his contract on Sunday November 2, 2025 in the evening in the presence of the club’s Chairman Gideon Nyale Munga and the Secretary General. He was later unveiled to the media at the Police Sacco Stadium, shortly after the Law Enforcers’ 0–0 draw with Posta Rangers at the same venue.
The Serbian, who boasts considerable experience coaching across the African continent, previously led SC Villa of Uganda to their record 17th league title in the 2023/24 season. He has also served as an assistant coach at Egyptian giants Zamalek, working under compatriots Milutin “Micho” Sredojević and Yannick Ferrera.
Kenya Police FC currently sit 17th in the FKF Premier League table with five points from three matches, having won once and drawn twice. The team, however, has four games in hand and will look to climb up the standings under their new coach.
Stojanović’s first test on the touchline will come on Wednesday, when Kenya Police host Sofapaka FC in a rescheduled league encounter at the Police Sacco Grounds.
Speaking during his unveiling, Chairman Gideon Nyale Munga said the club was confident Stojanović’s experience would steer the champions to greater heights.
“Following the departure of Etienne Ndayiragije, who was our head coach, the executive and board of trustees have acquired the services of Coach Dusan, who has landed in Nairobi and is ready to take charge of Kenya Police FC. Coach Dusan has a wealth of experience, having worked in South, North, and East Africa, and we believe that with his good exposure and experience, Police FC will go to greater heights,” stated Munga.
In his remarks, Coach Stojanović expressed optimism about his new role and promised to work hard to achieve the club’s goals.
“I hope everything will turn out as we want it to be. What we can promise is hard work, and that we’ll never give up we’ll always fight for what is our target and goal,” said the Serbian.
Having watched the team’s goalless draw against Posta Rangers from the stands, Stojanović admitted he was impressed by the effort but expects improvement in front of goal.
“For now, everything is perfect except the result, but I cannot complain because the boys gave everything on the field. We’re just lacking goals, but I believe with time we’ll get better,” he noted.
Kenya Police will now look to build momentum under their new coach as they aim to defend their historic league title and reassert their dominance in the top flight.
