Kenyan digital creator Sheryl Gabriella has shared details about her income from social media, revealing how she earns from TikTok Live .

During a conversation with media personality Shiksha Arora, Gabriella disclosed she earns about $200, approximately KSh25,826, per day from TikTok Live. The earnings come from daily livestream sessions where viewers send virtual gifts that are later converted into cash.

She also spoke about major financial milestones achieved through her digital work. Her highest campaign payout stood at KSh1.3 million, calculated from monthly earnings accumulated over a three-month period.

In 2025, she said, she recorded one of her biggest single-night earnings after making KSh244,000 from TikTok gifts in one livestream, driven by several high-value virtual gifts.

A large portion of her income is generated from TikTok gifts, which form the foundation of her daily earnings. She also earns from brand collaborations and marketing campaigns linked to her work as a digital creator.

Gabriella started content creation in 2021 after working as an waitress. She previously earned KSh12,000 per month as a waitress and later worked as a hotel hostess earning KSh700 per day before transitioning into digital content creation.

“I graduated with a Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication. After that, I started looking for jobs, but they were not that good. I would work in clubs as a waitress. I would make KSh12k a month, and rent was KSh6k”

“I worked as a hostess for a hotel in Kilimani. I was paid KSh700 per day, coming to work in Kilimani and living in Juja,” Sheryl shared.

During the same conversation, Gabriella addressed claims about her lifestyle, stating that her income is earned through her digital work and not through financial support from a wealthy sponsor.
