Kenyan digital content creator and Youtuber Sharon Arwa, popularly known as Shorn Arwa, has announced her break-up with her Nigerian boyfriend.
In a statement she shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, December 30, Shorn Arwa unveiled that it’s time she clears the rumours.
Shorn revealed that the two have decided to part ways amicably and will continue to co-parent their son, Amani, with love and mutual respect.
She also added that they will put the child’s wellbeing first despite the separation.
“I want to share, with clarity and respect, that my child’s father and I are no longer together. We remain committed to co-parenting our son with mutual respect and love, and that will always be our priority,” read part of the statement.
Shorn got married to her Nigerian husband after a swift courtship that began in Dubai.
She previously shared: “We met during my trip to Dubai and spent just two days together, it was love at first sight. He was so calm and collected; I knew he was the one.”
After six months of long-distance dating, she relocated to Nigeria to be with him and the then couple later moved to the UK in 2023. By April 2025, she announced her single status and removed photos, from her social media platforms, with her boyfriend.
“As I step into a new chapter of my life, I do so with peace, intention, and gratitude for the lessons that have shaped me. Thank you to everyone who continues to support and respect this journey,” Shorn wrote.
