Entrepreneur and comedian Sammie Kioko has once again drawn public attention after sharing a deeply reflective message on his Instagram Stories, seemingly capturing the weight of a long-running financial struggle.
“Sometimes you just have to accept the situation and say it’s okay, it’s life, it happens,” he wrote, accompanying the post with a video of himself vacating his current residence.
The somber update came just days after Kioko posted a heartbreak emoji on his Instagram feed without any caption, a move many interpreted as an emotional cry rather than a quest for sympathy.
The sequence of posts has reignited debate around his unresolved dispute with Machakos County over a KSh19 million tender payment.

Speaking during an interview with Oga Obinna about a month ago, Kioko openly detailed the toll the delayed payment had taken on his life.
“My tailoring business completely collapsed,” he said, revealing that he was forced to shut down operations, lay off employees, and watch years of work unravel.
He further disclosed that the financial strain left him unable to meet rent obligations or cover medical expenses for his ailing sister.
The matter escalated into the public domain after Kioko staged a peaceful protest outside Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti’s office, demanding accountability and an audience.
His quiet demonstration quickly went viral, drawing sympathy from Kenyans familiar with the struggles of unpaid contractors.
However, Governor Ndeti later dismissed Kioko’s claims, asserting that he was not owed any money. She alleged that he had “delivered nothing worth payment” and accused him of seeking publicity rather than justice.
Despite the sharp rebuttal, Kioko has maintained his silence, choosing instead to communicate through brief, emotionally loaded social media posts.
