Size 8 opens up being born into a witchcraft family

Nobody who grew up listening to Size 8’s secular hits could have guessed the kind of darkness she was quietly carrying.

Behind the fame, the music, and the confident stage presence was a woman born into a bloodline she never chose, one steeped in witchcraft, generational curses, and a spiritual bondage that had claimed her family for decades.

She does not talk about it to shock people. She talks about it because she has lived it.

“I come from a very twisted background. A very strong witchcraft background. I was bound to poverty, bound to serving the devil, bound to all those things,” Size 8 opened up in an interview with NTV on Sunday, March 1.

In her family, she says, turning to God was not just frowned upon, it was deadly. She claims that people in her lineage who dared to choose God did not last long.

And here is what strikes you most about her testimony, it was not willpower that saved her. It was not fasting, not hours on her knees, not any amount of spiritual effort on her part.

“God did not deliver me because of how much I prayed or how much I fasted. It is just His mercy, out of the blood of Jesus,” she said.

Size 8 narrated how bringing her children into the world nearly killed her.

She was rushed to the ICU during first-born child’s, Wambo, birth, while her son Junior spent an extended stretch in intensive care fighting for his life.

Wambo herself had almost not made it past two months in the womb. “When I see my children, I see a miracle,” she stated.

She also said that at some point, she was plagued with financial hardship, revealing that at the time she was burying her mother, she had only KSh58 in her bank account.

Her marriage Samuel Muraya, popularly known as DJ Mo, also experienced numerous challenges, leading to a separation that lasted several months.

For Size 8, praise is not a performance; it is evidence.
