Nairobi, 7th December 2025 – Tanqueray, the world’s No. 1 premium gin, launched its new cultural platform, Showtime, at an exclusive event at the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden and Cottages. The platform celebrates the brand’s commitment to transforming ordinary occasions into extraordinary, bold, and stylish moments for its discerning consumers.

The launch event served as a multi–sensory introduction to the platform, which is built on the pillars of style, lifestyle gastronomy, cocktail artistry, and sustainability.
A panel discussion explored the core elements of the platform. Moderated by Paul Gachoi Diageo Luxury Spirits Brand Ambassador, the dialogue highlighted the brand’s commitment to redefining cultural experiences.
The conversation featured insights from fashion innovators Scovia Miruka of Hawi Ready to Wear and James Ongweny of Itikadi ,Karen Blixen Head Chef Cosmas Kituku and Ramani Warehouse who shared their industry journeys and explained how collaborating with a brand like Tanqueray offers a dynamic canvas to expand their creative work.

Following the panel, guests were invited to the inaugural Showtime culinary experience where culinary artistry took centerstage with a bespoke menu by Chef Cosmas Kituku. The menu featured Swahili dishes expertly infused with Tanqueray No. TEN and Tanqueray London Dry Gin.
The experience was complemented by a selection of signature cocktails crafted by Diageo Luxury Spirits Brand Ambassador, Wangari Mwangi.
