TECNO has officially unveiled the SPARK Slim in Kenya, marking a major milestone in smartphone innovation as the world’s thinnest 3D-curved screen device.
Measuring just 5.93mm, the SPARK Slim pushes the boundaries of engineering by pairing an ultra-slim profile with impressive durability and long-lasting power. The device will retail at Ksh 27,999 exclusive of VAT.
The SPARK Slim maintains the vibrant, youthful identity of the SPARK series, featuring a lightweight design, a sophisticated 3D-curved body, and an aerospace-grade fiberglass back cover that is 200% more flexible and 300% stronger than conventional materials.
Despite being exceptionally thin, the back panel is also 0.19mm slimmer than standard alternatives.
A core highlight of the new model is TECNO’s innovative honeycomb space stacking technology, which optimizes internal structure by maximizing 12% more space.
This engineering breakthrough allowed TECNO to slim down eight major components, ranging from the motherboard to the cooling system, while retaining superior performance.
The phone runs on a high-density 5160mAh battery that delivers up to 24.8 hours of Day of Use and supports 45W fast charging, bypass charging, and 10W reverse charging.
The SPARK Slim incorporates a robust cooling system featuring a 0.3mm ultra-thin vapor chamber and a high-conductivity graphite layer with 1800W/m•K thermal performance.
Together, they form a 24,532mm² system that keeps the device cool during intensive use, including gaming and charging.
Powered by the new MediaTek Helio G200 chipset, the phone offers smooth everyday performance with TÜV-certified fluency for up to five years.
For durability, the device features Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and an IP64 dust and water resistance rating.
Users can choose between two classic colors, Slim White and Cool Black, both complemented by a playful Mood Light design on the back that animates with expressive lighting effects for calls, notifications, charging, and more.
The SPARK Slim also elevates visual experience with a 1.5K curved display, 144Hz refresh rate, and 4500-nit peak brightness.
Additional features include TECNO AI for real-time translation and document summarizing, Touch Transfer for device-to-device sharing, and FreeLink technology for Bluetooth messaging even without cellular coverage.
The TECNO SPARK Slim is now available across TECNO brand stores and major e-commerce platforms in Kenya.
