Tennis legend Serena Williams poured her heart out and congratulated her sister Venus Williams on her wedding to Italian actor and producer Andrea Preti, sharing a heartfelt message celebrating their bond and Venus’ new chapter in life.
The couple first exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Ischia, Italy, on September 18, before hosting a second wedding celebration in Palm Beach, Florida.
Taking to social media, Serena Williams posted a warm and moving tribute alongside pictures from the wedding, reflecting on their journey together from childhood to global stardom. In an emotional note, she described Venus as her constant guide and source of inspiration.
“My sister’s keeper. Venus, where do I even begin? From backyard courts to the world stage, you’ve always led with grace, strength, and heart. Seeing you step into this next chapter so loved and radiant means everything to me. Forever proud to stand beside you,” Serena wrote in the caption while sharing photographs from the wedding.
Venus Williams, a seven-time Grand Slam singles champion, married Preti in an intimate ceremony attended by close family and friends.
The wedding marks a new milestone for the former world No.1, who has been one of the most influential figures in women’s tennis for over two decades.

The Williams sisters, widely regarded as one of the greatest sibling duos in sports history, have often spoken about the role they have played in each other’s lives both on and off the court.
While Serena retired in 2022 with a whopping 23 Grand Slam singles titles to her name, Venus continues to pursue ambitious goals in her tennis career, with her eyes set on the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
Venus holds a distinguished Olympic record, having already won four gold medals and one silver across five Olympic appearances from Sydney 2000 to Rio 2016. She last appeared on the court during the US Open, where she lost in the quarter-final alongside Leylah Fernandez in women’s doubles.
