“That is nothing” – Pastor Kanyari reacts as daughter requests KSh300K during shopping

Salvation Healing Ministry founder Pastor Victor Kanyari has sparked online conversation after a lighthearted yet revealing moment with his daughter, Sky Victor, during a shopping spree, where she boldly asked for Ksh 300,000 for her bedroom makeover.

In a video shared on his Facebook on February 2, 2026, the preacher is seen walking through a store with his daughter Sky and his son Danny, pushing a trolley filled with items and holding a long receipt.

The mood shifts when Sky makes her request, casually telling her father, “That is nothing, and I have not shopped for our room, I need 300K to shop for my room.”

Kanyari pauses, visibly amused, before asking her to explain. Sky quickly pulls out photos on her phone, showing the exact style she wants.

“From the blankets to the flowers and the mirrors, I want everything to match,” she says, pointing at different designs and decor ideas.

Reacting to the figure, the preacher responds with a smile, “Ohh, you want something like this, and it will cost three hundred thousand?” He then hints that the idea is worth considering.

Sky, however, is quick to justify the cost, explaining that the makeover is about more than just looks.

“I want my room to make me feel happy,” she tells her father, insisting that the space should lift her mood and reflect her personality.

“I will always give my children everything,” Kanyari captioned the video, suggesting a possibility that he will indeed give her the money.

Kanyari known for often sharing family moments on social media, listens attentively before joking, “You don’t want depression,” as Sky nods in agreement, reinforcing her point about the emotional value of a well designed space.

The clip has since drawn mixed reactions, with some praising the preacher’s openness and others debating the hefty Ksh 300,000 price tag for a bedroom upgrade.

Still, for Kanyari and Sky, the moment highlighted a modern parenting conversation, balancing provision, guidance, and allowing children to express themselves, even when the bill runs into six figures.
