Popular content creator Thee Pluto has opened up about his recent breakup with Felicity Shiru.
Thee Pluto and Felicity ended their three-year relationship in 2024, in an announcement made on Instagram.
While thanking fans, family, and friends for their support in his post, Thee Pluto said their primary focus is on their daughter, and they plan to co-parent peacefully to ensure her well-being is not affected by their separation.
“We’ve decided to go on our separate ways and end our 3 years relationship. Thank you for the continued support from family, friends and fans. Let’s not speculate anything not to spread lies about the situation. We will coparent peacefully to ensure the life of our lovely daughter is not affected. Give us some space during this hard time. Thank you,” he wrote at the time.
In an interview with TV47 on Wednesday, July 23, Thee Pluto said he learnt a number of lessons on relationships from his breakup.
“You know, breakup taught me more than any success has,” he said, “it taught me a lot.”
Regarding his relationship with Felicity, Thee Pluto acknowledged its public nature, saying he takes responsibility for his part in their breakup.
“What I can say is it was public, and I can agree it was messy. And for me, I take responsibility for my part that unfolded in ways that I could not have imagined.”
He shared that he would not want any other couple to go through the same situation as he did, especially couples “who have portrayed everything online.”
“Some things I feel they are supposed to be sacred. By failing to share them out, it does not mean there is something that you are risking; it means it is from the respect that you accord to the other party.”
