Erastus Ayieko Otieno, popularly known and Flaqo Raz is one of Kenya’s most celebrated comedians. He is famous for his relatable skits, and the beloved “Mama Otis” character.

But away from the laughter, the award-winning content creator is trending for reasons far from humor, his own aunt, TikToker Nyakwar Janeko, has publicly accused him of being stingy and neglecting his mother.

Nyakwar, whose real name is Caroline Auma, is Flaqo’s maternal aunt. She is known for her vibrant and outspoken personality, and that has helped her build her own following on TikTok.

In a recent livestream, she sparked a storm of reactions after claiming that, despite his fame and success, Flaqo doesn’t do enough for his mother.

“Have you ever seen Flaqo making his mother board a plane even to Mombasa? I’m the one who usually takes Flaqo’s mother out. I, Nyakwar,” she declared to her viewers.

Nyakwar went further, alleging that Flaqo rarely answers calls from family members, assuming they only reach out to ask for money.

“He thinks you want to borrow money,” she claimed, sparking debates on social media about celebrity obligations and “black tax.”

While Flaqo hasn’t directly addressed the stinginess claims, his past comments suggest he isn’t shocked by Nyakwar’s outspokenness.

“Her online character is exactly who she is in real life,” he once remarked in an interview, noting that her unapologetic energy is part of what makes her loved by many.
