Wednesday night UEFA Champions League matches delivered four ties, four winners, and a clear picture of who is still in the race for European glory.
Barcelona kicked off the night with a dominant performance at home, defeating Newcastle 7-2. Raphinha scored early, but Anthony Elanga quickly equalized twice for Newcastle.
Just before halftime, Lamine Yamal converted a penalty to restore Barcelona’s lead. In the second half, Fermín López scored, Robert Lewandowski netted twice, and Raphinha completed his brace. Yamal also became the youngest player to reach 10 Champions League goals.

At Anfield, Liverpool overturned a first-leg deficit. Dominik Szoboszlai scored first, and though Mohamed Salah missed a penalty before halftime, he later assisted Hugo Ekitike, followed shortly by a goal from Ryan Gravenberch.
Salah then scored a stunning left-footed strike to mark his 50th Champions League goal, helping Liverpool win 4-0.

Bayern Munich dominated Atalanta 4-1. Harry Kane scored twice, Lennart Karl impressed with a well-taken goal, and Luis Díaz added the finishing touch. Bayern advanced with a commanding 10-2 aggregate score.
Tottenham fought hard and won 3-2 on the night but fell short overall against Atlético Madrid. Randal Kolo Muani scored a first-half header, Xavi Simons added a second, and converted a late penalty to complete his brace. However, goals from Julián Álvarez and Dávid Hancko ensured Atlético Madrid progressed 7-5 on aggregate.

The quarterfinal lineup is now set. Paris Saint-Germain will face Liverpool, Real Madrid will meet Bayern Munich, Barcelona will take on Atlético Madrid, and Sporting CP will clash with Arsenal.
The competition now moves into its decisive phase. Form, momentum, and individual brilliance will determine who advances closer to lifting the trophy.
