The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has announced February 2, 2026, as the deadline for registration for its Aspirants’ Forum ahead of preparations for the 2027 General Election.
In a notice issued by the party’s National Elections Board (NEB) dated January 29, 2026, UDA informed party members and aspiring candidates that the registration window will officially close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, February 2.
The party called on all qualified and interested members seeking to contest for various elective positions in the 2027 polls to complete their registration within the stipulated period.
According to the statement, registration for the Aspirants’ Forum is being conducted exclusively through the party’s official online portal.
Aspirants are also required to verify their registration details through a separate verification link provided by the party to confirm successful enrolment.
UDA said the registration exercise is a key step in organising its internal processes and ensuring that aspirants are formally captured ahead of the upcoming electoral cycle.
“All qualified and interested party members who intend to contest for various elective positions in the 2027 General Election are invited to complete their registration within the stipulated period,” the notice read.
The party further announced that all duly registered aspirants will be required to attend the UDA Aspirants’ Forum meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
The meeting will take place at State House, Nairobi, starting at 8:00 a.m.
Registered aspirants have been advised to carry their National Identity Cards for verification purposes during the forum.
The notice was signed by UDA National Elections Board Chairman Anthony Mwaura.
The Aspirants’ Forum is expected to play a central role in briefing potential candidates on party procedures, expectations and preparations as UDA gears up for what is anticipated to be a highly competitive 2027 General Election.
UDA has urged its members to adhere strictly to the timelines to avoid last-minute complications.
