Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K) leader Eugene Wamalwa today led a rally in Sigomre, Ugunja constituency, to drum up support for Wiper candidate Engineer Orodi Odhiambo ahead of the November 27, 2025 by-election.

Speaking at the stopover, Kalonzo urged Ugunja residents to demonstrate their support for him by voting for Odhiambo as their next Member of Parliament. He emphasized his close ties with ODM leader Raila Odinga and appealed to the Nyanza community to embrace him with the same warmth they have shown Raila.

“I have walked closely with Raila Odinga for many years. I ask the people of Nyanza to extend that same trust and embrace to me by supporting Engineer Odhiambo,” Kalonzo said.

On his part, Eugene Wamalwa rallied the crowd to back Odhiambo, describing him as a candidate who embodies integrity and development-oriented leadership.

“Engineer Odhiambo represents the new face of servant leadership. Supporting him is not just about Wiper or DAP-K, it is about giving Ugunja a leader who will deliver,” Wamalwa declared.

Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu Muthama also joined the leaders in Sigomre, urging women and youth to rally behind Odhiambo. She underscored the importance of electing leaders who prioritize grassroots empowerment.

The leaders expressed confidence that Odhiambo’s candidacy would strengthen Wiper’s presence in Nyanza and reaffirm the party’s commitment to unity and development across the country.
