Kenyan artiste Willy Paul, also known as Pozee, has disclosed that his liquor shop was the target of a late-night raid. The star claims the attack was carried out by a group of “hired goons” who stole expensive drinks and caused significant damage to the premises.
According to Willy Paul, the hired goons attacked his liquor store on Friday, October 9 night, and tried to create the impression that the attack was carried out by students.
“In reality, their sole intention was theft. They broke my car, broke into the shop, stole merchandise, including some expensive alcohol, and even tried to steal the CCTV hard drive but were unsuccessful,” Willy Paul said, adding, “They also caused significant damage to the property, including breaking windows and stealing alcohol.”
Fortunately, Willy Paul said that no one was injured in the incident, and that the police have been notified.
“Investigations are already underway, and we are working closely with the authorities to apprehend those responsible. I also want to let you know that our business remains open, and we appreciate your continued support during this time.”
The exact geographical location of the store was not specified in his statement.
Despite the significant damage, the liquor shop remains operational.
Nevertheless, Willy Paul is expected to headline the much-anticipated Mazingira Day Party at BND on Friday, October 10 evening.
