“We are fixing mess left by Uhuru administration” – Governor Sang tells off Kenya Kwanza Gov’t critics

Nandi Governor Stephen Sang has launched a scathing attack against critics of President William Ruto’s Government.

Speaking in Kapseret, Uasin Gishu County, Governor Sang said that the Kenya Kwanza Administration is working day and night trying to fix the mess created by the previous regime.

The county boss insisted that critics should not give lectures since they took part in messing up the country, including overseeing violations of human rights issues that is a major concern in the country at the moment.

“We are asking the previous administration and those elements that were part of the previous administration…. We are fixing your mess, and as we fix it, the only thing you can do is to keep your cool and watch us fix your mess. Don’t give us lectures yet we are fixing the mess that you left our country in,” he said.

According to Governor Sang, former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration oversaw massive violations of human rights, an issue that remains a major concern in the country at the moment.

Albert Ojwang’ murder

Sang also faulted the opposition, led by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, for frustrating the government with unfounded accusations over the matter of teacher Albert Ojwang’s murder.

He implored the opposition, and Kenyans at large, to allow for an independent investigations into the matter.

“For anybody who is against independent investigation into the murder of Albert Ojwang, we must investigate what they know about the murder,” he said.

The Ojwang’s murder has led to unrest in the Nairobi, with protesters calling for comprehensive investigations and the resignation of Deputy Inspector General Eliud Lagat.
