Johana Ng’eno Kipyegon is the current Member of Parliament for Emurua Dikirr Constituency in Narok County, having represented the area since 2013.

He successfully secured re-election in 2017 and again in 2022, demonstrating consistent support from his constituents.

Early Life and Education

Ng’eno began his education at Mogondo Primary School, completing his KCPE between 1980 and 1987. He proceeded to Maseno National School for his KCSE studies, finishing in 1991.

He later pursued higher education abroad, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Law from Kyiv TSN University in Ukraine (2003–2006). Upon returning to Kenya, he completed an LL.B (Bachelor of Laws) at Mount Kenya University (2011–2013) and further obtained a Master of Arts in International Studies from the University of Nairobi (2010–2012).

Career Before Politics

Before venturing into politics, Ng’eno served as a Director at the Agricultural Development Corporation (ADC) from 2008 to 2012, gaining valuable leadership and administrative experience in the agricultural sector.

Political Career

In March 2013, Ng’eno was first elected as MP for Emurua Dikirr Constituency, marking the start of his parliamentary career. Since then, he has been a key member of the Departmental Committee on Justice & Legal Affairs and the Public Investments Committee, contributing to oversight and legislative development.

Following his re-election in 2017, he joined the National Government Constituencies Development Fund Committee, focusing on local development initiatives. After securing his seat again in 2022, Ng’eno continues to serve on parliamentary committees covering justice, legal affairs, public investments, and constituency development, consolidating his role as a committed legislator.

Ng’eno’s blend of legal expertise and political experience has established him as a respected figure in both parliamentary affairs and his Narok County constituency.
