Ugandan boxer Shakib Cham, husband to socialite Zari Hassan, is making headlines after challenging Kenyan celebrities Khaligraph Jones, Arrow Bwoy, and Willy Paul to a boxing match.
On the podcast “3 Truths No Lies, “Shakib expressed interest in facing off with the stars in the ring, saying he wants to “test their strength.”
This comes after his recent boxing match in Kampala, where he suffered a defeat, an event that drew even more attention because his wife Zari, was present and visibly emotional during his loss.
Arrow Bwoy has already responded, accepting the challenge but with a jab of his own:
“I’m down for it, but he shouldn’t bring his wife along this time.”
However, it was Willy Paul’s response that stirred up online buzz. Taking to social media, the controversial singer addressed Shakib directly:
“Shakib, I’m told you want to box me in a boxing game. I’m a huge fan of yours. I don’t advocate for that, and I’m also a fan of your wife. The only person I don’t like in your family is the other guy who calls himself Lion. But I’m a huge fan of yours. Remember, I killed a lion, I turned a lion into a rat.”
Fans were quick to note that “the other guy who calls himself Lion” is likely a jab at Diamond Platnumz, Zari’s ex and father of her children, Willy Paul’s long-time rival in music and style.
Meanwhile, Khaligraph Jones has remained silent, leaving fans wondering if the OG is plotting a quiet comeback, perhaps in the ring.
