Police in Kilimani, Nairobi are investigating a tragic incident that occurred in an apartment on Kindaruma Road.
According to the authorities, a 48 year old woman and her lover checked into an airbnb unit for a weekend stay. During the visit, they were joined by a male friend for a drinking session. The friend left the apartment shortly before the fatal incident.
Police officers indicate that after the friend’s departure, an argument erupted between the woman and her boyfriend.
The dispute turned physical, and the investigators allege that the woman pushed the man off the 14th floor of the apartment.
The man fell to his death, landing on the roof of a parked car moments later. The woman reportedly fell asleep afterward and was awakened only when officers arrived at the scene.
Officers recovered assorted bottles of alcohol and drugs from the room. The woman was arrested at the scene and is expected to appear in court as police seek additional time to complete their inquiries.
Detectives are also attempting to locate the male friend who left the apartment before the fall ,in order to obtain his statement and clarify the sequence of events.
The case remains under investigation, and authorities have not released further details pending forensic analysis and witness interviews.
