Xiaomi has announced the launch of the REDMI Note 15 Series in Nairobi, Kenya on January 30, 2026.
The lineup comprises three models: REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G, REDMI Note 15 Pro, and REDMI Note 15, all defined by REDMI Titan Durability featuring long-lasting battery performance, reinforced drop resistance, enhanced water protection, and advanced imaging capabilities.
The series introduces significant battery improvements, with the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G featuring a 6,500mAh Silicon-Carbon battery with 100W HyperCharge and 22.5W reverse charging, while other models include upgraded 6,000mAh batteries.
The SiC battery technology retains 80% capacity after 1,600 charge cycles, equivalent to approximately six years of typical use.
Structural durability is reinforced across the series.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G achieved SGS Premium Performance Certification and features certified drop resistance from heights up to 2.5 meters, incorporating Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and an ultra-tough fiberglass back panel.
For dust and water resistance, the Pro+ 5G meets IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K standards and can withstand immersion at depths up to 2 meters for 24 hours.
The imaging system receives a comprehensive upgrade.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G features a new 200MP camera powered by a 200MP HPE image sensor with 2× and 4× optical-level in-sensor zoom.
The Pro models support five focal lengths from 23mm to 92mm, while the REDMI Note 15 features a 108MP camera system.
All models include AI-powered tools such as AI Remove Reflection, AI Beautify, and creative features like Dynamic shots 2.0.
Performance is anchored by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 mobile platform in the Pro+ 5G model, with the series introducing Xiaomi IceLoop cooling system.
All models support Google Gemini and Circle to Search with Google, with the Pro+ 5G further integrating Xiaomi HyperAI for personalized AI experiences.
The series offers displays up to 6.83 inches with up to 3,200 nits peak brightness and volume boosts up to 400%.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G starts from KES 54,999, the REDMI Note 15 Pro from KES 36,999, and the REDMI Note 15 from KES 24,999.
Launch promotions include free Redmi Buds 6 Play with Note 15 and Pro purchases, flexible payment plans through Onfon with 5% deposit and 15% installment discounts, and up to 15GB data through Safaricom.
The series is available at Xiaomi Partner Stores, Safaricom outlets, Mi.com/KE, and Jumia with a 24+1 months warranty.
