Fifteen (15) people were injured on Saturday, August 23 night after public service vehicle collided with a cargo truck at Kibarani, Mombasa County.
Kenya Red Cross says the accident occurred just after Ug Holdings.
“We are on the ground responding alongside a multi-agency response team,” the Kenya Red Cross said in its update around 11:40 pm Saturday.
Ten minutes later, the Red Cross updated that fifteen (15) people had sustained injuries and were taken to health facilities by well-wishers.
“Thankfully, no lives were lost. The scene has been cleared.”
Police are yet to issue a formal statement on the cause of the accident.
