Costa Titch collapsed twice during a performance at the Ultra Music Festival in Johannesburg, with the second fall proving fatal.

In an emotional interview with Tshisa LIVE, Lara Langeveld emphasizes her quest to preserve her son’s legacy. She clarifies that Costa was not involved in drugs, a misconception fueled by societal judgment.

He did what he loved,” Lara reflects, acknowledging the toll that extensive travel may have taken on his health. Yet, amidst the pain, there’s solace in knowing he departed while pursuing his passion.

“He has to rest now,” Lara concludes, finding comfort in dispelling falsehoods surrounding his death. “He honestly was not that.”

How Costa Titch Died

Titch, experienced two collapses during his performance. The first instance saw him falling, only to be lifted by his security team, bravely continuing his show.

However, he collapsed once more, prompting his removal from the stage. Tragically, it was later confirmed that he had passed away.

Attendees at the Ultra Music Festival in Johannesburg captured videos of the Amapiano sensation in action, including the moment of his collapse.

Titch is known for hits like “Big Flexa,” “Nkalakatha,” and “Activate.

He died when he was at the prime of his career at only 28 years.
