After 10 years of love, family and public moments, Kenyan singer Bahati and his wife, Diana Marua, are finally preparing to make their union official and their wedding announcement has left fans talking.

The couple revealed that their much-anticipated wedding will be held on November 6, 2026, but there’s an unexpected twist: only 100 guests will be allowed to attend, and each invitation comes with a KSh1 million price tag.

Bahati made the announcement on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, as the couple celebrated a decade together.

“Finally, it’s time to mark a decade of love. My love, I give you gifts to celebrate you every year, and this year I have decided to make it official,” Bahati said.

He added:“On this special day we will only have 100 people in attendance, and anyone that would like to attend must pay KSh1 million to get the invite.”

Bahati and Diana Marua: November 6 Is Our Big Day

Diana confirmed that the long-awaited ceremony will take place on November 6, calling on those interested in attending to secure their invitations.

“Ladies and gentlemen, November 6, 2026, is the Bahatis’ big day. Call now and purchase the invite,” Diana said.

For a couple whose relationship has played out in the public eye for years, the announcement marks a major milestone.

Bahati and Diana have spent roughly a decade together, frequently giving fans glimpses into their relationship and family life. The couple has also previously spoken about plans for a lavish wedding, with Bahati reportedly putting the budget at KSh100 million.

‘Thank You For Finally Making This Decision’

For Diana, the announcement appeared to carry an emotional weight beyond the glitz and glamour.

She thanked Bahati for finally committing to making their wedding dreams a reality.

“My love, thank you for finally making this decision,” Diana said.

Bahati, meanwhile, reflected on their decade-long journey together.

“After 10 years together, I hope I have not taken so long,” he said.

But Diana assured him that what mattered most was the commitment.

“Baby, time does not matter, as long as we do it the right way… I have spent my lifetime waiting for this special day, my special man,” she said.

A KSh5 Million Gown?

The wedding is already shaping up to be one of the couple’s most lavish celebrations yet.

Bahati has previously spoken about going all out for Diana, including revealing that her wedding gown could cost as much as KSh5 million. He also said he did not plan to rely on fundraising committees to finance the occasion.
